Replaces the factory oil pressure switch. They are known to go bad, and cause your gauge to stop working. If your gauge has quit working and you aren’t sure if the the gauge or the switch, unhook the switch turn the ignition on, and ground the wire going to the switch, it the gauge goes all the way to high oil pressure, your switch is bad.
